SDDP Chair Randy Seiler’s Statement on Ravnsborg Conviction
Sioux Falls – South Dakota Democratic Party (SDDP) Chair Randy Seiler issued the following statement after Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg was found guilty on two charges.
“Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg should resign. After his conviction, his continued service as South Dakota’s Attorney General undermines the integrity of the office and there is bipartisan agreement he should resign. If Attorney General Ravnsborg does not step aside, the legislature should remove him from office. Elected officials must be accountable for their actions for the people of South Dakota to have faith in their government,” said Randy Seiler, Chair of the South Dakota Democratic Party.
