Chair’s Note: As minimum wage keeps making headlines across the nation, the Bureau of Labor Statistics gives us some demographic information on who the typical low-wage worker is. They also point out that even in the cheapest county in the US, the minimum wage still isn’t enough to afford basic needs. Raising the minimum wage is too important to ignore. Let’s raise the wage.
