Chairman’s Note: Recent national news stories have highlighted the many hardships faced by those living in Indian Country. As we recognize National American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month this November, I wanted to share Senator Tim Johnson’s piece and acknowledge his dedication to native people in South Dakota.
