Chairman’s Note: There’s just no denying it anymore: Republican legislators are attacking our children’s educators. Even before Governor Daugaard introduced his controversial education agenda, Republican legislators sought to end continuing contracts that afford teachers due process against arbitrary firing. Our educators are looking out for our students. We need to look out for them, because Republicans in Pierre just aren’t up for the challenge.
