Chair’s Note: Last November, you overwhelmingly voted to stop Governor Daugaard’s corporate handout program when we defeated Referred Law 14. Seen as an unregulated corporate welfare program, we gathered signatures from all across the state and so we could put it to a vote. And on Election Day, we won. Because of the power of your votes, Democrats were given a seat at the table as plans develop around the Building South Dakota Program. We look forward to seeing this bipartisan program take shape.
