Description
Senator McGovern signed this 24″ x 30″ custom-framed rally poster from his 1974 Senate re-election campaign and it would be a beautiful addition to anyone’s political memorabilia collection. In a tough race, just two years removed from his Presidential campaign, George defeated Leo Thorsness with 53% of the vote. His campaign focused on South Dakota’s farm economy, badly damaged by the 1973-74 recession. This item was donated by Rick Weiland, 2014 US Senate candidate and co-founder of www.takeitback.org.
