Chairman’s Note: We weren’t the only ones troubled by the appointment of one of Mike Rounds’ campaign staffers to the state Board of Economic Development. Rob Skjonsberg, a member of Mike Rounds’ senate campaign team, was recently appointed to this post by Governor Dennis Daugaard. We can’t help but wonder whose interest is being served here. It’s just another ongoing example of Republican leaders in Pierre using state tax dollars to support Republicans running for office.
