These last two months has been a whirlwind of signature collecting. From staking out government buildings, to attending community events and going door to door, we have taken a stand for 62,000 South Dakotans who deserve a raise. From our kick off event on Labor Day until now, our volunteers across the state have stepped up to our call and gathered signatures, but we are not done yet. 
On November 4th, we will deliver all of our collected petitions to the Secretary of State’s office for filing. That gives us the rest of this week to collect more signatures, and to turn in all of our notarized petitions to the South Dakota Democratic Party Headquarters by no later that Friday morning.
I strongly encourage you to volunteer two hours in the remaining days to reach out to a few more folks in your community. Those two hours could be the perfect opportunity for you to finish off you current sheet, or to complete another one.
