Noem to SD on $127 million deficit: You’re Welcome.

Kristi Noem spent 4 years in Pierre, 2 of them as Assistant Majority Leader in the SD State House of Representatives. She touted this experience from her office in Pierre in March 2010, telling South Dakotans she would use the very same tactics in Washington, DC.

This year, the first legislative session post-Noem, South Dakota faced a $127 million structural deficit. Coincidence? Not by a mile.

Kristi Noem has already shown her only understanding of fiscal discipline is in the form of bullet points on “tough conversations”.  Her $127 million deficit-creating leadership is now in Washington, where she will sound the all-clear. Noem sure has a way with numbers. We can’t wait for the YouTube video on that one.
