Chairman’s Note: 9% – that’s the public approval rating of Congress with leaders like Kristi Noem at the helm. Rather than work together to tackle our nation’s jobs crisis, Congressional Republicans have pushed divisive, partisan issues while balancing the budget on the backs of our women, seniors, and children. Congressional Republicans like Noem will tell you that they have a jobs plan – get rid of regulations, lower taxes for large corporations, and end Medicare. 71% of Americans disagree. Kristi Noem may not understand how legislation works, but just putting the word “jobs” in your bill title, does not make it a jobs creation plan and does not give people faith in Republican leadership to govern.
