More than 200 Oglala Lakota College students will receive their diplomas this morning at the school’s 38th annual graduation ceremonies.

President Thomas Shortbull says it’s the largest graduating class in the school’s history. The 204 students will be receiving masters, bachelor’s, associate degrees and certificates.

Evan Adams, a physician and actor from the Sliammon First Nation in Powell River, British Columbia, will be the keynote speaker.

He played Thomas Builds-the-Fire in the feature film “Smoke Signals.”
