Chair’s Note: In a special joint hearing of the House and Senate committees on Health and Human Services yesterday, an overwhelming number of people spoke in favor of expanding Medicaid in South Dakota. One after another, doctors, clergy members and advocacy groups came forward and gave their impassioned and researched testimony on the benefits of Medicaid Expansion.
