SDDP Chair Shane Merrill has called for a meeting of District 18 central committee members to fill a vacancy that has occurred in the Democratic Senate race in District 18.
Per SDCL 12-6-57 (2) – Multi-county legislative districts, the party State Central Committee chairman shall call a meeting of affected county party central committee members to fill the vacancy, designate the time and place where the meeting shall be held, designated the person who will conduct the meeting and notify all affected central committee members of this information.
Chairman Merrill has designated Ryan Cwach of Yankton, SD to conduct the meeting which will occur on Thursday, July 18th, 2024 at 4:30 PM CDT. This meeting will take place at Cwach Law Offices located at 202 W. 2nd St. in Yankton, SD.
