Do South Dakota Republicans Agree with Senator Corker?

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The South Dakota Democratic Party released the following statement from Executive Director Sam Parkinson in response to yesterday’s comments from Senator Bob Coker (R-TN), who said that President Donald Trump “has not yet been able to demonstrate the stability nor some of the competence that he needs to demonstrate in order to be successful”:

“The fact that Donald Trump doesn’t have the “stability” or “competence” to be president shouldn’t be news to anyone who’s paid attention the last few years. But coming from such a high-ranking Republican, these comments are big news.

“Senator Corker’s comments raise the question: do Kristi Noem, Mike Rounds, and John Thune agree with Sen. Corker? If not, why not, and if so, what are they going to do about it? The people of South Dakota deserve answers to these important questions.”
