This week we saw exactly what happens when extreme members of the South Dakota Republican Party wake up progressives across our state. Together we successfully defeated blatant discrimination in Pierre.
I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the equality rally in Rapid City this past Monday and was amazed by the love and moving messages, inspiring us to keep fighting! The fight for equality for the LGBT community is long from over here in South Dakota and now is the time for us to continue to press on! This is going to be a long battle but a battle worth fighting for, a battle that we will win, but it is going to take us all digging a little deeper.
