Chair’s Note: With only days left to reconcile the House and Senate versions, a new coalition has launched to push the passage of the new Farm Bill. The group consists of at least a dozen agriculture and environmental organizations. You might remember that back in June, Senator John Thune voted against the Senate version of the bill while Senator Tim Johnson voted for it. It’s time Washington gives America’s farmers the respect and infrastructure they need and deserve. Pass the Farm Bill.
