Chairman’s Note: Thousands of hungry families will be fed this year because of the tireless efforts of Rep. Susy Blake (D-Sioux Falls). This week the first $840,000 saved from her effort to repeal a broken tax refund scheme was distributed to feed hungry families in 39 counties. Blake serves as a reminder that Democrats can still do enormous good for the people of South Dakota. Senator George McGovern would be proud.
