Lora Hubbel, former Republican legislator and current Chair of the Minnehaha Republican Party, signed a petition organized by out of staters for South Dakota to secede from the Union. Let’s be clear – no matter how different our views, we are always bound together by our shared desire to move our nation forward, together as one. Such threats to secede are not constructive. They are outright dangerous.
