SD Democratic Party Condemns Neo-Nazi Group in South Dakota

South Dakota Democratic Party Chair Shane Merrill released the following statement after a Neo-Nazi group called the “Blood Tribe” marched with Nazi symbolism at the State Capitol and Deadwood.
“The South Dakota Democratic Party condemns these marches that promote hate and racism. This is NOT what South Dakota stands for. And to stand on the steps of our State Capitol with a Nazi flag is especially abhorrent. We just marked the 80th anniversary of D-Day as brave military members fought against Nazi Germany to protect our freedoms. As South Dakotans and American citizens, we need to stand up against racism and show that this kind of hate doesn’t belong in our state.”
